
A1GP executives have recently announced a momentous 6 year deal with the legendary Italian sports car manufacturer, Ferrari, under which Ferrari will become a partner of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport Series as of 1 January 2008.
From the start of the 2008/09 season, Ferrari engines will power every car on the A1GP grid and the chassis will all have had Ferrari's input. Ferrari will also consult on the design and manufacture of all the next generation of A1GP cars including those for the planned A2GP Series, a new regional open-wheel feeder series to A1GP. onside law continue to advise many of the national race teams which participate in the Series.
