onside law has recently advised National Express Group, one of the UK's leading public transport operators, on two new business developments.
Firstly, on its purchase of The Kings Ferry Limited, the Kent based coach company, which provides popular commuter coach travel services in London and the South of England on behalf of companies such as BBC, AIG and KLM. The cash element of the purchase price was approximately £8 million.
Secondly, on the establishment of its new on-demand door-to-door airport transfer service, National Express dot2dot. onside law advised on the IT arrangements that enable a fleet of over 60 National Express dot2dot branded vehicles, equipped with state-of-the-art satellite navigation equipment, to provide transfers between central London based hotels and Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
