Long standing onside law client, Nick Faldo, has added another title to his six majors — "Sir". Nick Faldo was given a knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to golf, the only athlete to be given one of Britain's highest honors on the monarch's birthday list in 2009. Nick was quoted as saying "I was delighted to hear the news that I will be receiving a knighthood and am more than a little bit humbled to have been afforded this great honour." onside law congratulates Nick on the announcement, with the award being a fitting tribute to a man widely thought of as Britain’s greatest ever golfer and one of the country’s sporting greats. Sir Nick Faldo joins Sir Michael Parkinson on onside law’s roster of knighted clients.
“onside law rises in the rankings following another strong year and has emerged as a serious player in the market. According to clients its 'superior team' 'has very good knowledge of the sports industry' and 'is refreshingly commercial’. It ‘impresses in an area where it has genuine niche expertise’.”
“As a boutique sports and entertainment firm, it is able to offer its clients highly specialised advice, which has been key to its attracting and maintaining client relationships with prominent sports bodies such as the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Ryder Cup Europe. Sources say: ‘All four main partners are highly charismatic individuals, all are young, enthusiastic and energetic, and all work exceptionally well together as a team.’"
