Cambise is a trainee solicitor and is currently sitting with the disputes and regulatory team. He joined the firm as a paralegal after four years working at Football Legal, a football law journal, and spent time at specialised sports law firms in the UK and Spain.
Since joining Onside Law, Cambise has been involved in a range of contentious, commercial, employment and corporate matters. He assisted the team over the investment by Y11 Sport and Media in Ospreys Rugby and the disposal of TRM Partners to Two Circles (backed by investment firm Bruin Sports Capital). He has advised rightsholders on commercial rights including sponsorship agreements as well as governing bodies on governance issues, and has been involved in disputes before judicial organs of governing bodies and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Cambise has given talks on various sports law topics at King’s College London and co-authored the England and Wales chapter of The Sports Law Review.
Away from his desk, Cambise enjoys playing London’s smallest open mic nights, chasing his parkrun PB and detailing France’s exploit of winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
