Gareth is an associate focusing on corporate and commercial work for clients in the sport and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law, Gareth trained and qualified at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the corporate department and spent time on secondment in the United Arab Emirates.

Gareth has prior experience working on a range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, fundraisings and governance advice for public and private companies.

Gareth is an associate focusing on corporate and commercial work for clients in the sport and media sectors. Prior to joining Onside Law, Gareth trained and qualified at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the corporate department and spent time on secondment in the United Arab Emirates.

Since joining Onside Law, Gareth has advised Heart of Midlothian PLC and Ann Budge on the transfer of 75.1% of the football club to the Foundation of Hearts Limited, as well as advising a number of other clients including a variety of governing bodies, investors and clubs on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Away from his desk, Gareth enjoys cycling, being a fair-weather golfer and following Reading FC.
