Giuseppe has a particular specialism in high-value sponsorship agreements – highlights include advising FIFA on several milestone deals (e.g. Aramco, Lenovo, AB InBev and Unilever) and acting for European Rugby (EPCR) on the Champions Cup title sponsorship deal with Investec.

Giuseppe also has significant in-house experience, having spent one year on secondment with FIFA’s Commercial Legal team in the period covering the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the lead-up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. Since his secondment, Giuseppe has continued supporting FIFA on a broad range of matters relating to the new FIFA Club World Cup and future editions of the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Giuseppe joined Onside Law’s London office in 2021 and relocated to Switzerland in 2024 to help develop the firm’s Swiss practice. Fluent in Italian, French and Spanish, Giuseppe frequently advises clients with connections to continental Europe and Latin America.

Prior to Onside Law, Giuseppe trained and qualified at Withers, spending six months on secondment in the Milan office working with the firm’s Sports Group.

Away from his desk, Giuseppe can usually be found on a football pitch, padel court or skiing in the Swiss Alps. As a Lazio fan, Giuseppe can also often be heard describing Sven-Göran Eriksson’s starting eleven between 1998 and 2000 (and the various trophies won) to anyone who will listen.
