Alex is an Associate in the Commercial team at Onside Law, where she advises clients across the sports, media and entertainment sectors on a wide range of commercial matters. She has particular experience in negotiating and drafting sponsorship and endorsement agreements, representation agreement as well as production, distribution and supply contracts, acting for athletes, rights holders, production and broadcasting companies and modelling agencies. Alex also spent a season working in-house with the Philadelphia 76ers NBA basketball team, where she gained valuable first-hand experience of the commercial and operational considerations facing elite professional sports organisations.
Alex regularly advises a diverse client base ranging from early-stage start-ups to established global institutions in relation to their intellectual property assets. Her experience includes working with organisations such as the England and Wales Cricket Board, J4S7, England Netball and SRO Motorsport, supporting them in the management, protection and commercialisation of their intellectual property portfolios, as well as developing and implementing effective trade mark strategies.
Outside of the office, Alex can usually be found running along the Embankment or playing netball, where she continues to pursue her competitive streak—while doing her best to avoid an untimely return trip to A&E.
