Alex is an associate specialising in employment law within the sport and media sectors, whilst he also advises on commercial matters.

Alex advises on the full range of employment law issues, including day-to-day HR matters, such as recruitment, terminations and changes to terms and conditions. Alex has also helped clients to implement a variety of staff contracts, policies and procedures and has experience of drafting complex player contracts (in both sports and e-sports) and advising on the employment status of athletes and TV presenters.

On the contentious side, Alex has advised clients on a range of employment disputes and has successfully defended high-value claims in the employment tribunal relating to discrimination, harassment and unfair dismissal. Alex has also led numerous in-depth HR investigations, including sensitive staff grievances and disciplinaries relating to discrimination, bullying, harassment and whistleblowing.

Prior to joining Onside Law, Alex was part of PwC’s employment law practice, providing in-house support and advising external clients.
