Prior to joining Onside Law, Chris established and ran a boutique employment law firm, with clients including major TV and sports broadcasters, fashion houses, streaming services, media buyers and advertising technology providers. Previously, Chris was the sole in-house employment lawyer for FOX SPORTS Australia, also working with Foxtel, Foxtel Media, Kayo Sports and BINGE. During this time Chris advised on all legal matters relating to on-screen talent, as well as providing legal support on global compliance, M&A, production and other commercial agreements. Chris started his legal career at leading Australian law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, practising primarily in employment law. Chris has also consulted for global law firm Allen & Overy and its clients in relation to complex Australian employment law issues.

Outside of work, Chris can be found playing with his kids, surfing or watching anything sport related (but in particular rugby league and American football).
