George is an Associate at Onside Law, specialising in sports regulatory and disputes. He joined the firm in 2021, having trained at Mishcon de Reya. Prior to training as a solicitor, he worked in the Corporate Treasury at Goldman Sachs in London having read Politics and Economics at university.

George’s practice primarily comprises advising individuals, clubs, governing bodies and commercial organisations, both nationally and internationally, in High Court litigation as well as various alternative dispute resolution forums, such as LCIA / ICC arbitration, Sport Resolutions, mediations, Court of Arbitration for Sport and governing bodies own procedures. George regularly advises the International Tennis Integrity Agency in respect of anti-corruption proceedings, World Rugby on anti-doping matters and the England and Wales Cricket Board / the Cricket Regulator in various regulatory matters.

Recently, George advised Jannik Sinner in respect of anti-doping proceedings against WADA at both first instance and on appeal to CAS.  George also successfully advised the Cricket Regulator in respect of anti-corruption proceedings against cricket agent, Moghees Ahmed.

Away from his desk, George is a long-suffering West Ham fan who spends unjustifiable amounts of time and money following them up and down the country.
