She advises governing bodies, clubs, teams, players and agents and other commercial organisations both nationally and internationally. Her litigation practice focusses on commercial disputes in the High Court and in various arbitral settings. She also acts regularly on disciplinary and regulatory proceedings covering a wide range of issues including relating to doping, discrimination, safeguarding, corruption and other sport-specific regulatory infringements. She has appeared for both sides, as prosecutor and respondent.
Alongside her contentious work, she regularly advises clients on non-contentious regulatory matters with a particular specialism in regulation drafting and implementation, as well as advising on regulatory compliance.
Clients include the ECB, World Rugby, the International Tennis Integrity Agency, the British Basketball Federation, England Netball, Starwing Sports Management as well as numerous other commercial organisations and high-profile individuals.
Lily is also qualified as a solicitor advocate having gained her Higher Rights of Audience in 2025.
Recently, Lily has contributed to the 2025 publication of Professional Tennis and Transnational Law, as well as The Sports Law Review. She is also a guest lecturer for the Intensive Course on Sports Arbitration before CAS.
Prior to Onside Law, Lily trained and qualified at Freshfields LLP where she worked on high court litigation and in particular mass litigation, consumer actions and product liability disputes.
Away from her desk, Lily can be found travelling to the edges of the South of England with her childhood hockey club, Sevenoaks HC, or hacking her way round North Cornwall’s links golf courses.
