Simon Thorp, one of the firm’s founding partners, said “We are delighted to welcome Ben into the partnership at Onside Law. Ben has been an integral member of the corporate team over the last 18 months having brought with him a wealth of M&A and private equity experience.  Ben’s intelligent, practical and personal approach has won praise from many of our clients.  We look forward to Ben helping drive the corporate practice at Onside Law forward at an exciting time for the sector.” “We are also really excited by the appointments of Ross and Harriet as Legal Directors at Onside Law. Both have been key members of the team for several years and their promotions are well deserved.  Ross will play an important role in further expanding the firm’s sports integrity and regulatory practice, as will Harriet in respect of our corporate and commercial practices.  Harriet has also always shown great passion for and interest in women’s football.  With Onside Law becoming the second corporate partner of Women in Football alongside Brighton & Hove Albion FC, we look forward to Harriet leading on future business opportunities in this space, which continues to be an exciting growth area in the sport’s industry.” Ben said, “I’m very excited and proud to join the partnership at Onside Law. I’ve really enjoyed working with our outstanding clients and I can’t wait to see what next season brings. Our corporate practice is growing in size and potential.” Ross said, I joined Onside Law as I wanted to act on legal matters that directly impacted the field of play, so it’s a great privilege to be able to do that on a daily basis. I am proud of this promotion to the role of Legal Director where I can continue to focus on growing Onside Law’s market-leading sports integrity and regulatory practices. This is an exciting time for the firm and I look forward to contributing to its future success.” Harriet said, “Women’s football presents enormous opportunities globally. My vision is to bring Onside Law’s award-winning football expertise to the heart of the women’s game and deliver a world class service for our clients”. These new appointments are on the back of a recent senior addition to the firm’s team in Australia.
